Makeup Domino Mask

Hey guys,

I'm cosplaying DC Comics' Robin and have decided to forgo the usual domino mask and instead go for a makeup application, similar to what The Vigilante/Green Arrow has in Arrow except with a red/black design.

I've never done any kind of makeup before and with just about a month left to go, I need to get practicing, so does anyone have any tips or tutorials? I also need to learn how to cover up my acne, too.

Cheers,
Coronart.

If you use the search term "makeup mask tutorial" on YouTube, you'll find plenty of tutorials. If you want a similar texture to Arrow, I would recommend a long-lasting gel liner applied with a fluffy eyeshadow brush; you can set the liner with matte eyeshadow. Inexpensive, eye safe, easy to find. Hope this gives you some ideas. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip on the make-up - I plan to go make-up shopping with a female friend so hopefully she can help even more.

In terms of the youtube searching - I had tried that before but there's nothing that's exactly how I want it (the closest being a "rave mask").

But thanks again for the product tips
