Question Steampunk Akiyama Mio from K-On!

I'd like to do a steampunk twist on K-On's Akiyama Mio, but I have no idea where to start!

I have a satin corset to which I'm adding ribbons to make a it a halter... combined with a full knee-length leather skirt and some steampunk-y goggles I made a while back for fun.

I'm also wearing the signature blue/turquoise tights but i'm adding a layer of black vertical stripes tights over that (surprisingly not bulky when I wear them together lol).

I want to stay true to the essential character but add some steampunk accents. Is there anything else I can add to it without changing the cosplay too much?

I'm a noob at cosplay so any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

Thanks!

A reference picture for what you're basing the outfit on would be helpful

ah, sorry! the outfit is the don't say lazy dress so I assumed everyone knew what I was talking about.

Here are pictures of the anime and of a few cosplayers. I haven't been able to take a picture of myself yet, so hopefully these'll do for now.
