Hey guys

I finished and premiered (booo cant spell!) my lilly pendragon costume from Suikoden 3 the videogame at Megacon and well.. I lack any sort of feedback and really wanted to know what I should do to improve it or if im lacking something. So far the only thing I can think of is either chopping half of my hair off or getting a wig; i am such a nicky picky person I even dyed my hair her color but my length is a lil longer than hers. Does that bother anyone?

Any opinion would be appreciative! Thanks

Its hard to do that here now since cosplay.com doesnt allow reference pics next to your photos anymore grrr..

Shampoo: Looks great to me! Only thing I can suggest is maybe adding the little gold pieces like the rings and things on the sword belt to really bring it out more.

Her body suit isn't a body stalking, it's a whole sewn thing. Terribly hot, but accurate. You can probably get away with making just the pants and sleeves though so you won't be baking.

Her hat dips down in the front and has the giant red plume.

Well i didnt use a body stocking, but your very close. Its a pair of opaque theatre tights and some armlets I made of the same material and color, the elastic helps it by keeping it stay put on my arms and appeared stretched. I was thinking about making pants to make it as opaque as the armlets. So i shall take your word up on that.
I wonder where's the best place to buy lycra/nylon fabric...
Any thoughts? I've tried Joann's but to no avail..

I do have the feather but in that picture because of the camera angle you cant see it.

That costume is fantastic! As mentioned before, I think adding the oversized buckles will really help put a finishing touch on the outfit.

Also, Lily's dress seems to be really fitted to her form - perhaps making it a bit tighter would be nice. But, then again, you want to be able to breathe in an outfit, too!*laughs* Also, I agree with you mentioning a wig in your first post. I think a wig could really help. You could have the perfect length and color that way. Also, it might be easier to train a wig to keep hair behind your ear so we can see Lily's earrings*nods*
