Leather painting?

I was wondering if there is any way, or product, to paint leather to be brown. I ordered gloves for a cosplay off the good old internet and they sent me the wrong color and my schedule's too tight to get new ones.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Err with gloves you don't want to paint the whole surface with paint as it can crack with that much movement but you could try Angelus Leather Paint.

My recommendation is to order a new pair from here or another local US seller or see if any bag shops or department stores that still have some in stock.

I'm actually in the process of using stuff to turn a pair of brown leather/pleather shoes gold.

I'm using Tarrago dye.
