Sailor Moon Wig + Odango Covers

So I have my wig. The odangos are made from fiber wrapped around styrofoam balls. I have my odango covers...but they have a comb to attach it to hair. How should I go about altering the covers, or how should I attach them?

My con is still about six weeks away, so I have a little time to play with.

Got a link to the wig?

This show how to use combs on bun to pin to a wig.

I would honestly sew them to the wig or get toupee claps from Sally's Beauty Supplies for extra secure comb type clips.

I'm also in this stage. I've made the wig using the stubbing method and hair wrapped styrofoam. I have these odango covers: http://www.etsy.com/listing/10809364...op_home_active.

They came with a bobby pin attached so I pulled those off because of the way they were centered. It wouldn't fit on my odangos at all because the hair is layered very flush to the foam. I was thinking that I could attach some kind of pins or tacks that would poke out from the covers and directly puncture the foam balls.

Just curious if anyone has any other ideas or past experiences with attaching covers to the foam balls.
