Talking Kyoryuger Gun Holster Wanted!

Looking for quotes to have something like this done.
I don't have a set price, but the cheaper the better. Thanks!

She does really good work though! But totally understandable. Hope you find something that works for your budget!

Is that patch on there something you can buy in a store? If not, a commissioner would have to hand make that. If that's the case, $120 is extremely cheap for that.

Really? I was looking for something like $30.00
o.o
I didn't know it would be that expensive to make a little holster.

I've never made anything but I don't think you could get what you want for $30. Here are some progress photos from the designer I linked to:

30? That's not even close to enough for labor..the material alone well be a good half that..

$120? are you kidding me? Are they charging $60 an hour for labor? Because i could make that patch, in an hour flat. If there custom making the holster too though, thats about right.

OP, for something within your price range, what id recommend is, buy a gun holster that looks like the one you need, then get some iron on printer paper, print that design onto the paper, and then iron it onto the holster.

They made the entire holster by hand, no idea about the patch. I posted a link to her progress photos.

Yea, the p[atch alone would never be anywhere near that lol The whole thing though, yea, as it seems they make the entire thing. People need to start realizing how much materials cost, how much shipping costs, and how much time goes into something..This abundance of extremely low budgets just started coming outta nowhere..

Wait, did she embroider the patch by hand or program it into am embroidery software and then machine embroider it? Because hand embroidering does indeed take FOREVER, but machine embroidering, the digitizing part, takes about half of the time. Did she cut and dye actual leather? It should be half that price if it was hand embroidered and it was actual leather. If it IS real leather, than the price is a bit more understandable.

She made it out of Duck Canvas... I may not be a pro at prop making.. but when I made my Rachel Alucard umbrella, I did use Duck Canvas for the inside, outside and head and paw... I can see where the time they put into it might run a little up there... but Duck Canvas is not $30.00 a yard... I only spent around $50.00 and I ended up with a few yards for my project.. and there is no way you're using YARDS for this.

I'll probably just try attempting this on my own. Thanks everyone for the comments though.

Duck canvas is $10.99 yard and you would need like half a yard (or more if you want to make the straps out of the same material), then some buckles and what not. So, labor should take roughly 5 hours, depending on the commissioner.

I would check out Facebook Rangers.
I /know/ there's someone in there who makes patches and there's probably someone who can get you your holster who isn't aniki.
