Female Link

Hi there,
I've been wanting to do a female version of Link from legend of Zelda for awhile now but I have no idea where to get started. First would it be possible to crossplay a female Link? And second would someone be able to give suggestions on how to go about this.

Are you a guy planning on crossplaying a genderbent Link, or are you a girl asking about crossplaying Link? If the second one, here's a thing for you: Most Link cosplayers are female. It's not too big a deal for that.

If you're genderbending Link, you're embarking on a challenge I'm in the middle of right now: a non-game-specific female Link. I'd suggest making a few of the stock feminine changes, but don't go overboard. Long hair is good, maybe some feminization of the utility belt thing he has going on in some of his iterations. Having earrings like he does in Twilight Princess would help get the point across. Maybe slit the sides at the bottom of the tunic? Relatively small changes are the best in this case.

Things I do not suggest include high heels, low collar, really bright makeup, thigh-high boots. They don't fit the character and would not be flattering on most crossplayers.

Upgrading : Sheik (armor), Cloud (wig and armor)

It depends on what you want to do.

"If Link was actually a girl" probably wouldn't look any different - Link would just have breasts but there's not reason any other design element would need to be different.

If you want to make a "sexy girl Link" costume that's another thing entirely and it's up to you whatever you want to do because you have total artistic freedom.

Actually in the pipes:
- Remaking Ser Loras doublet.
- Luke Skywalker, A New Hope
- Wind Waker starter costume in swim material
Eventually: Paul from Dune, Faramir, Harry Sullivan
