Sailor Moon Patterns

I just found some good patterns if anyone was making a costume for Sailor Moon!

The first one, which is actually perfect for a Sailor Senshi uniform is for an ice skating costume. I don't have a link for the pattern because it is old but the number is Butterick 5781. Here is a picture of a Sailor Mercury costume that I borrowed from a friend. She used this pattern! The collar she just made from scratch.

If you want an actual pattern for the collar I found it looking on the internet. It is a child's pattern but if you got the largest size avaliable then I think you would be ok. Mccall's 3759

I hope that helps anybody! Just thought that I'd pass that along. ^.^

A little sailor fuku under the guise of a cheerleader outfit. That's hillarious.

Mostly because nobody knows what Sailor Moon is around here. At leastin the US.
Strange thing, though. I was at the mall the other day and there was this KB toys closing down, and this store had only been around about a year. Everything was cheap-as-free and among the pules of junk there was a whole stack of vintage Sailor Moon dolls from way back in the day! I'm talking about the american release from before the show was even in the US. They looked like defunkt barbies, and I seem to remember the commercial blathering something about saving Avalon.

I'm not sure why the pattern was discontinued either, I remember seeing the pattern in a fabric store one day when I was in high school, I could kick myself now for not buying it. Although, I believe the pattern has a few inaccuracies, like two boobie seams up the front.
