hmm well it depends on your height also, the second one you put up seemed a bit long :/. and then the recent one seems too short. i think the original one is still the better

Which was the orginial one, the full cut from Amazon right? Well i only posted those but there are different sizes to buy at Amazon or ebay too. The one thing I am worried for also is how heavy the raincoat is so i'm not dying in it during a hot day at a con.

Also I'm 5'7..medium or large you think would work?

hmm my friend is 5'7" so im tryin to picture... i'd go with large b/c if its too big you can always trim it or if you can you can shrink it in the wash. if you get somethin too small theres not much to go with it ^_^;;

Yeah I was thinking Medium myself actually, like to work on it without having to do much trimming or whatnot.

I would say go with a medium too. The length you could shorten by cutting, but since it's made out of pvc, you couldn't shrink the rest of it if it's too loose in the shoulders and whatnot.

I got a lot done on the jacket for my Celes costume, but it's still not completely done. There's a pic up in my gallery. I still need to put the green lower part of the sleeves on and add some minor detailing, but all in all I'm pretty proud of how far I got for one day's work.

Ordered the rain jacket. Any advice on trying to make the hood a little pointier and stand up?

maybe you can use wire, and sew it in to the hood so it'll stay up better ?

and ironekilz, your jacket is really perdy so far, looks comfy too !

Thanks! I'm hoping to work more on it this weekend when I'm not so tired Slowly but surely I'm working on the sashes for the costume too. I've devoted myself to beading the bottom of one of them and it's taking a really long time.

I'd have to agree that wire would probably work best, unless you wanted to sew something like a dunce cap into the hood.
