aw sorry i dun have pics of the lance so far, I was trying to make it with a couple of spare batons and a foam rod, but the rod is too thick....I might go to party city and get a devil's pitchfork and go from there, i have to see how much it is though. i was also thinking of trying to find a spare broomstick, but i have no luck, but i'll see what i can do

For the belt I'd find a red belt but I doubt karate pants have belt loops, right? Either that or find curtain tassles... *shrug

Oooh I haven't posted here in a while. Well anyway I took my break from Celes-creating because the pants are so annoying (perhaps worse than my skirts) that I have to keep trimming and trimming to make into tights. Now I can't tell if I have enough fabric for Celes' gloves or not!

KaineMaxwell: If you cinch it tight enough it probably won't matter about belt loops, but you could always make it out of fabric if you're worried.

Chibi Plush Toy: Good luck! Hopefully you'll have enough and if not, hopefully you'll be able to easily match it and get more at the fabric store.

I am nearly done with my costume now...I think.

I know I need to sew on a little more trim, which I can probably knock out tonight, then I need to put it all on and see what if anything more needs to be done.

I picked up some preppie belt at the Gap when I went clothes shopping today (was $3.99). Bright orange in color, will likely have to paint it for Cid. Think it'd work?

Cid jacket is done! I would have taken pictures of it with the shirt, but its drying after being touched up somewhat. The emblem on the top button is taped on presently till I can get it to told with Crazy Glue, and I had to touch up some spots where red paint got on the jacket with some yellow paint. From a distance looks fine, up close...blah. Still concerned about the length though.
