Comes down to one simple question, how durable do you want this to be? The durability of the item is relative to both cost and time needed to put it together. If this is something you're only going to use once then something cheap will be fine. For repeated use, then something more expensive.

But either way you'll need a good strong base to start from in which I'd suggest crafting the handle first along with it's electronics system. From there build around it creating the cannon.

Do you already have an idea of how you plan to build the cannon? Also do you require instruction for the LED wiring?

some what

to build the part that has led lighting i was gong to use the pvc that was linked and foam for the outer shell for where led is going to be then used my arm while foam building as the main part plus a dowel to hold it in place combine the pieces after putting on fabric but take out the pvc before combineing them. sorry for the complex talk anyways.

PVC is going to be kind of heavy. You sure you want to carry it around all day?

And why would there need to be fabric on this prop?

uncomplex words

what i mean is to use the pvc not as part of it but a piece for the measument for the other part on the blaster where the led goes plus fabric will be over the foam, inside and around also some were i will put a hole in it where the hand and the led but the light would have a fold bracket or latch on inside to change batteries when it dies so that's another reason for making two parts one will be for hand and wrist the other the other the blaster part with led while fabrics will match the megabuster because one needs to be heat resistant for inside the mega buster and the other the outer layer making it look that way to be simpler

This might sould like a strange question, but why does it need to be fire proof?

LED almost have zero heat emission and batteries only get warm at best.
