Need help for a school uniform jacket! Looks easy enough!

Hey there! I'm cosplaying for the first time in August, and I'd love to go as Hiyono from Spiral, one of my favorite series from way back when. I'd love to go in her school uniform and I think the skirt would be easy to do, but I'm not so sure about the red jacket. Does anyone know of any tutorials for making a similar looking jacket? Or have tips? Suggestions? Without the jacket, I just don't think it's going to work (which would be tragic because I have her hair and eyes!!) so any help would be returned with a HUGE Internet hug

Here are some pictures of the uniform from the show and other cosplayers:

Any help would be mean the world to me. Thanks for reading.

Hello dear!

Jackets are one of the tougher garments to make, I suggest this:

It looks pretty close to the jacket in your reference photo's.

Hope this helps!
