help with gore (ish)

I'm trying to cosplay someone who has multiple wounds on her back, and I was wondering if there was any way I could draw these wounds on a layer of prosthetic or something in order to spare others of having to draw wounds down my back. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Do you have a reference picture? I feel like even if you had some sort of prosthetic, you'd still need help actually applying it to your back.
