Cassandra Cain Cape Construction

Hi guys! I am still fairly new to sewing so have patience with me, lol. I need to make a cape for my Cassandra Cain cosplay. I already have the fabric and the collar is already done. I just need to make the actual cape part and attach it to the collar.

Her cape reaches her ankles and is tattered and frayed at the ends so luckily I don't have to worry about having perfect lining and all that. What I am stuck on is the shoulders and how to properly attach it to the collar. Here are some references.

The pictures are really small, I can't see much from them.

How did you make the "collar" ? To me it almost looks like there isn't a separate collar at all. But it's hard to see, I can *kind of* see one, but it also looks different in each of the pictures. Sorry. D:

Weird, I don't know why they would be showing up small. The collar kinda resembles a loose turtleneck.

I refreshed the page a few times and I guess PhotoBucket was sending me to the mobile site ? It's not your fault - but direct linking to the images can avoid that kind of weirdness in the future.

I can see them bigger now, but they still all look different to me.

The first one looks like the fabric is just pulled up over her chin, but not a separate piece.

The second one looks like it has a hood.

The third one looks like it has nothing, although the hood could be there, just not rendered in a way it can be distinguished.

I don't think you need to do anything special for the shoulders for any of them - they are all unshaped.

It's up to you if you want to have the cape be a rectangle, half-circle, or circle - you can interpret the artwork to be any of them.
