Nashville Anime Day? Worth the trip?

I hope this is the correct place for this thread. >.> Seems like it may be, but I am probably wrong.
Could anyone possibly provide their review of Nashville Anime Day?
I would really like to attend, but I'm not sure if it would be worth the trip. I am 22 years old, and I'm hoping to just parade around in cosplay. And, most importantly, maybe make a few friends their. Not really interested in buying merchandise.
But if anyone could give me a general consensus of how many people attend and what age group do you think they may be?
I'm hoping it's not like MTAC where the general age of those con-goers are from ages 13-16. (That's what it feels like anyway.) Nothing against younger cosplayers - I'd just like to make new friends with cosplayers closer to my age, you know?
