Ugh, that was my first cosplay too xD I was sooo half assed with that one. I thought I could get away with the whole "let's mix anime and movie Misa and call it a day!" and it was just a terrible mess of using a gothic cosplay lolita dress that my sister used back at her first time at a convention, fishnets, messy eyeliner and shockingly bold red lips, and my black hair tied up in pigtails to keep the "movie-Misa reference". This is what I get for getting last minute cosplays in lol

This picture is not from the first time I cosplayed her, but that is pretty much what I looked like.
That's a really good cosplay! I'm going to be cosplaying as a Little Sister pretty soon--this was great motivation! Do you mind me asking about how you did your face/body makeup?

My first cosplay shall never see the light of day! Ever!

I cos-ed as Kuno from Ranma and that was a long time ago. I don't even remember what I did for his Hakama. Lol. All I know was that I used my own hair for the cos and a tailor made top. that was it.

Ugh, my first was Temari from Naruto- the outfit was great! My aunt made it for me, and it was really beautiful! Too bad I wore my normal hair and zero makeup(it was 8th/7th grade so yes, I had plenty of acne) it's bad, and I managed to find a picture:

My first cosplay was "forced" upon me. I was at an anime party at a friend's place and was with a group of people just talking when someone in the group just stared at me and said, "I have to make you Kyoya." I was really confused more then anything and could only reply "What's a Kyoya?" I then found myself over the course of the summer leading up to Otakon 2009 watching and learning about Ouran as I was getting fitted for my Kyoya cosplay for not only the school uniform but from what he wore in episode 10. I even went and did my own thing creating a dossier of the character's from the series that evolved and was improved upon over time. The costume I don't wear as much anymore now, but the dossier has now become an autograph book with the VA's signing their own section of whichever character they voiced in Ouran.

Needless to say I got the cosplay bug ever since and have done so whenever I can.

Your aunt did a great job! Shame you didn't have a wig, though.

Mine was pretty damn good. My aunt is a professional seamstress and made it for me. I still have the cloak. That thing is the balls.

I'd my my VERY first cosplay was Ed from Cowboy Bebop which I threw together the day of and was terrible but I had fun and people liked it. My first I think "real" cosplay that I actually put work into was a Little Sister from Bioshock.

My first cosplay was Grell Sutcliff from Kuroshitsuji. The outfit wasn't terrible aside from the Christmas bow tie and the mismatched gloves, and my mom bought me these really nice expensive shoes that looked just like his...but the wig. It was my first cosplay ever and I had this god-awful flaming red wig from the Halloween store DX

But with a decent wig, so better gloves and a tie I didn't take off the Christmas tree, it would be a lot better and very easy to improve.

I WILL post this, as it was my second cosplay and I don't have any pictures of my first.

Compare that to the last update I made:

My first cosplay is (still working on it) Fang from Final Fantasy XIII. It's nothing special, and I don't have any photos yet, but people at the con I went to said they liked it and asked for pictures (even though I just wore a pair of sandals, not boots and I was missing the tattoos xD

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.
