critique two photoshoots

Hi so I know I've been making a lot of these threads recently but I wish to keep improving and I feel like I've gotten to a point where I'm not sure what to work on next so please any advice is helpful.

Your composition is getting better, I like this one:

Avoid framing like this:

Work on focus a bit. Some of your shots are out of focus (your subject is kinda blurry). Try to take more pictures that show the environment the cosplayer is in. Wide shots. This will improve your composition and creativity. Don't just take close ups!

One thing that helped me out when I was learning was, I always took a lot of photos even if I edited most of them out later. For instance, if I am shooting close, I will do a bunch of different shots from head-and-shoulders to full body shots while moving around and trying to improve on each type. If I am shooting from farther back, I will try different angles and backgrounds that seem pleasing at the time and decide what worked best during the editing phase.

Then when you are editing, try to evaluate every shot and remember your train of thought at that time. Ideally every shot is an improvement from the one before it -- this means that your reasoning or adapting (as a photographer) was working in a good way.

Apart from the excellent advice above, I think your albums would benefit from a little culling. It is hard sometimes to cull photos, but too many similar shots gets a repetitive after a while.
