How to restore shine and silkiness to wig after straightening?

I have an Arda Ferrari in White that I've never worn before. Last night I used my straightening iron to straighten out all the pretty curls and waves (that was heart wrenching). While the fibers are certainly straight now, they are lackluster and a little frizzy.

What can I do to restore the pretty shine and silkiness of a new wig? Maybe a product I can use that won't leave any residue? Keep in mind that I don't necessarily need to wash it, as I've never actually worn it before.

Thanks!

Did you use they straightening iron with the hair damp because it can fix up the frizzyness at the end of the wig.

The wig was dry when I straightened it, so I'll give that a try. I also trimmed the ends and that seemed to help. Thanks for the suggestion.
