Natural Black wigs (colour 1B)...where to find (besides Arda!)

I am on the hunt for a natural black wig (1B) that's long and straight with bangs. I could wear standard black if necessary, but with my complexion (even with a ton of makeup) I really prefer natural black.

Here's a reference of my character, Kate Bishop as Hawkeye. I don't mind if the wig is shorter than the reference image...in fact I'd prefer it since longer wigs are a bit of a pain to keep neat. http://31.media.tumblr.com/7fc3b673e...kvkyo1_500.jpg

I know Arda has natural black, though they don't have an exact style match. If nothing else, I think I might cut bangs into a Le Tigre wig. (I've considered the Eowyn but I've heard that it's very thick, and I'd prefer to deal with a bit less hair.)

None of my other go-to wig brands have a natural black option...so does anyone have any suggestions for where else to look for the elusive 1B?

The brand New Look has wigs in 1B. I bought the Enchantment style in 1B from Amphigory.

I'll have to compare the two tonight but the the fiber type is completely different mind you.

Personally I like the Luthien if i need a long wig wig bangs. straightening a wig is also easier then curling one. You can do it with as straightening iron or the boiled water method.

The Eowyn is thick but at that length is don't tangles as much.

Man, I didn't even think of New Look or Sepia, even though those were totally my go-to brands before heat resistant wigs became available in every imaginable colour. I think I'm still going to try to make something from Arda work, because I'm now a staunch convert to their wig fiber.

Thanks for the tip on Luthien! I found a youtube vid demonstrating how to cut bangs into it and the result was exactly what I'm looking for. (Since I want a sparser style of bangs rather than poofy anime bangs and Arda wigs are often quite thick, I wasn't entirely sure what I'd get.) I'd probably cut some of the overall length off of the Luthien...basically I'd make it a Ferarri, which is what I'd be buying if Ferarri came in natural black, which of course it doesn't. XD

All the Kate Bishop love! Thanks so much, everyone. ^_^

Also, what about a dark brown instead of a black? Do you think that would look better with your tone and maybe give you a few more wig options?

I've worn very dark brown for black before and do love it for some costumes, but Kate's colour scheme is very much about purple and black and I do kind of dig her monochrome thing. So this time I'm going to go for the natural black and just make it work. XD
