How long to wait for Client?

Hey all!
I know I've seen a thread about this before but can't for the life of me find it!
Also, I don't know if this is the best place to put this, but it made the most sense to me.

So, How long would you wait for a MIA client before reselling the costume?

Long story to follow.
I've had a client since the end of July. I quoted $195 for the costume and $45 for the wig. She wanted to pay in 4ths so she sent the first payment. I finished the costume in 3-4 weeks. I have not received the wig I asked her to order, apparently she had shipping issues with Arda. I kept her up to date saying that I was going to college and couldn't style the wig anymore and asked her to cancel her order.
She said her deadline is September 25th. Which is in 3 days. And she hasn't responded to my e-mails since August 25th.

Now I'm wondering how long should I wait without response from her to resell the costume. I don't want to sit on it for forever and I don't wanna be out the $135 for the costume (not the wig.).

Fellow commissioners, what would you do?

Before being asked: no I do not have a contract with her. All communications were through e-mail.

Honestly, give her another month or 2..Email her right now and specifically say:

"Hey you have been not responding to my emails, nor making the rest of your payments on the cosplay commission of (insert character and series here). I am demanding payment on this fulling finished costume. You have (X amount of months) to complete this payment, or I am putting it up for sale. for other interested cosplayers to purchase."

I wouldn't give them more then 2 months though..This exact situation is why I put rules in my commission threads (when they were up).

In my contract I give them 60 days if I remember correctly. 60 days of not hearing from them, not necessarily 60 days after the due date. You said that you're out some money if you don't sell the costume? I never start a costume until they've paid for all the materials so I'm not out any money if they change their minds halfway through, maybe consider adopting a policy like that?

Hope this helped.

I'm not out money. Only money for labor.
But she responded so all is good!
