Male Cosplay Eye Makeup

I'm a girl that crossplays a lot. Two of the characters are Ciel and Alois from Black Butler. In the show, both have sorta girly eyes that most people use mascara to emulate in cosplay. Wondering if anyone had tips for doing eyes like that?
here's an example:

Sure, I didn't do any of this when I cosplayed Ciel, but try some false eyelashes and circle lenses...You can get away with falsies because their eyelashes are so thick!
Also a bit of light coloured eyeshadow on the tear-ducts help brighten up your eye, I think.

Not that good at makeup, sorry. ^^ゞ

Alright sooo,
This is going to be a long response.
I myself, am an Alois cosplayer.
From my personal experiences,
Because anime people tend to have large eyes, White eyeliner on your water line sort of creates a slightly larger eye illusion, than some black mascara on your bottom eyelashes because that's kinda important.. Next some people use the white eyeliner in the corner of their eyes too maybe a light eyeshadow? Also fake lashes but not ridiculous ones... just... no. >.<
Than I do a black liquid eyeliner. And wing it out because of the corner of anime people's eyes.
Yeah.. I know they are males and really you shouldn't need makeup for that,
But you'd be surprised how well it turns out

That's a really good reference video..
Sorry if this is just a weird response but it works for me so erm.. yeah

I agree with previous comments - circle lenses, eyeliner, and falsies will get you close to anime eyes. For eyeshadows, keep it subtle and stick with brown colors. Also mentioned before, using white eyeliner on your waterline and white/light eye shadow in the inner corner of your eye will brighten them up and make them appear bigger.

Another tip (not for the eyes) is to use foundation, concealer, or a nude lipstick on your lips. That, in my opinion, is very important - it will make your lips look thinner and less rosy (i.e. they will appear less feminine).

There is also a Ciel makeup tutorial from Layers Magazine which does pretty much what others have suggested, but has pics. A user here translated the tutorial from Japanese
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

When I cosplayed Ciel, I used grey or brown eyeliners because it looks less "harsh" or distinctly feminine but will still bring out your eyes. Paired with dark brown mascara, nice foundation for a porcelain skin look, white liner to make eyes bigger, slight contouring around nose and eyes with a tan color, false lashes, and circle lenses, you can give yourself the "beautiful boy" look without going overboard. There is a fine line between getting it right or falling into the "crossplaying girl with all the wrong/too much makeup" category but practice will help you navigate, so doing makeup tests far before your event is a great idea.

I think browns or greys would work well for both Alois and Ciel to get the look without overdoing it. Though, I suppose if you are cosplaying Ciel with the Little Robin ballgown, you can use girly makeup techniques and dramatic colors like black as he had to pass as a female as part of the disguise.
