Marketplace Ad Expiration

In the marketplace rules it says that "All advertisements expire after 30 days. After expiration, you may relist your item if it hasn't sold yet." My cosplay-for-sale ads are all over the 30 day mark, but are still present in the listings. What exactly is supposed to happen after an ad "expires?" I recently retired more costumes and am looking to place them up for sale but don't want to get in trouble for breaking the "only 5 ads allowed" rule.

It seems you'll have to delete the old ad to place a new one. You'd have thunk they'd fixed the auto-expire feature by now.
Every time I open the fridge, the hole in my jello glares at me.

Thank you for completely removing my signature without emailing me that it was too long.
