It is all good, I was not offended when I made my post I was just stating my opinion I hope I did not offend you with my posts.
Keeping an ideal around sounds good on paper... but is not good in reality. I have found that it can stir up just as much self-loathing as it can motivation, personal experience. Just like having small cloths does not really give people much motivation. They are just a constant reminder of how you are not at your goal.
A better method is the before and after photo method. Take a photo of yourself now, and store it away. Then in 6 months take another one and compare the two. Seeing the changes that way is far more encouraging in my opinion than... well like I said lying.
