Hey there everyone! Its about that time, don't ya think? There was no thread yet, so I decided it would be a good time to post one up! I've been helping run the shoots for the past two years, and would love to continue doing so!
Now, lets get down to business! I thought it would be best to keep the same times and place as the past two years. I'm also looking for two other people to help me run all three shoots. It's really a lot wiser to have three people, instead of just one, when it comes to shoots as big as ours!

Another thing we have to talk about is how the photos will be taken and where the cosplayers will be standing during the shoot...
This past year, more so than years past, the Photographers and waiting cosplayers crowed the cosplayers getting their photos taken. On Saturday we came up with a great plan that seemed to work quite well. We had all of the cosplayers, who where taking pictures stand on the upper area of the fountains and not in the lower part but the water. Then we had the cosplayers who where not being photographed stand by on the right and left sides. Lastly, we had all photographers and non-OP cosplayers stand directly across from the shoot behind a line on the ground. This allowed the cosplayers some room to breath. It was also a lot easier for cosplayers to get up to the photo area when it was their turn.
For people who don't know what the outdoor fountains look like, let me show you what I mean with this picture of a lovely Sogeking from this past year:
I know, not the best example picture, but it should show how much room the cosplayer had to pose and have their picture taken. We will also explain this entire set up at each shoot, before they starts. Also at each shoot the other hosts and myself will have a list of the order in which photos will be taken. Afterwards we will open it up to requests. When we have requests open, make sure to stand by the hosts. We get a lot and need you near by, just in case we forget and need to ask you what you wanted. You can also make special requests here, and I will make sure to add them to the list before the con!
Sorry for rambling on and if anything I wrote is confusing! I tend to word things oddly. If you guys have any suggestions for anything to do with the shoots just let me know!
