Yeah. His ninja skill is so great that even his scarf has clipping through his polygonal form.

All jokes aside, Shinobi's a nice game, but I think Shinobi3 was the best one of the series. Gameplay, music, graphics...and that nasty-ass sewer blob monster was cool.

Besides the ending as Rey-Rey pointed out in another thread, Revenge of Shinobi was really sweet.

All the Shinobi Genesis games were great.

But I wish that the last boss from Shadow Dancer would stand up.

So there was actually an arcade version of Shinobi? Was it any different from the console version...?

BTW, there was a Shinobi game on the SEGA Saturn...Shinobi Legions, but I'm told it wasn't that great.

How could I forget? *has never played Legions for SAT*

Yeah, very old-school game: Shinobi for the arcade. Rescue hostages and then you get to play a bonus stage where you threw shurikins at ninjas coming at ya. ^__^ v The NES version of the game kinda sucked. I do hope to see a remake of the game. It's not a great game now by any standards but it'd be nice to relive the old-school.

I still play all three Shinobi Genesis games. Shinobi III was very widely ignored since it was released late in the Genesis' life.

Oh, and if you got a VERY EARLY copy of Revenge Of Shinobi, you get to have SPIDER-MAN AND BATMAN as bosses. Otherwise, you only get SPIDER-MAN. ^__^ v

Hey Rey-Rey, Shinobi wasn't ever a NES game as far as I know.. it was for Sega Master System.. ^o^; hmm I wonder if they're planning to release a Shinobi collection sometime.. that'd be pretty nice ^^ Until then.. there's always MAME or whatever XD

Shinobi was published on the NES by Tengen(sp?) but developed by Sega.

Yeah, my cousin bought Shinobi for NES. Yes, it was developed by Tengen. So I should know. ^__^ v
