I'm just wondering if anyone is cosplaying at your next convention as one of the characters from Metal Gear Solid (any series).

^^ I've done Solid Snake. It's on my website. I'm wearing him at A-Kon. For a girl, I think I did a damn good job, but alas, I lack ze' facial hair.
BTW, Mango. I love your avatar! <3 Willow. |

I'm working on a uniform of one of the 'spetsnaz' soldiers from Metal Gear Solid 2. I have the correct camo, boots, and helmet; main thing I'm missing is the load bearing equipment (currently mix and matching spare equipment to get an approximation), and the facemask (did a shoddy modifying job to get something that kinda works). Oh, and a prop weapon, but that's not too important since the one I'm eyeing probably wouldn't be allowed at most places anyhow.
Still wating for a few remaining items to be shipped over to my house. |

A month or two ago I saw a balaclava that made me go "Wow, that looks just like the one in MGS2," So I know it's out there. Probably should include "china silk" in your search. |

Better yet, make and bring a flashbang. You'd win an award for sure. Hehehehhh....

If the judges can even see you to give you the award afterwards. Though actually that's a good idea considering they wouldn't be able to see any of the other people after you, so you'd automatically win an award.

MGS3 is going to be absolutely amazing. I wonder what's up with the Raiden lookalike, Kuwabara.

always been wanting to do a psycho mantis. If i would, I'd be shaving my head. I've seen a few mantis' that don't look good because they made a fabric bald cap.
