Everything you could possibly need for Venom Snake (now the official name) would be here, done by my friend Andrew:

Not quite everything; I'm just wrapping up making BB's arm. I had to do a shit ton of work to get enough resources to go off of to include all the finer details. Leather is a bit of a pain to put the small curves in to as well (all I've got is the 13oz stuff made for shoe soles atm). Once I finish it I'll be putting pictures of my pattern pieces online (not scanned but with rulers in the pic) so people can just scale, print them out and go. That'll also include a template for his exact eye patch. Patterning is by far my least favorite part, if I save one guy from the hassle I'm content.

Also I simply went on Ebay and searched parachute harness. I ended up getting "GI personal hoisting harness" for about $25 Canadian. It has all the straps in the right areas including the little tail strap. Works for me. There are a ton of them for sale as well.
