Some fatigue modding progress. The pocket on the left is how they both look now.
 And I've been meaning to set some eyelets in my gloves for awhile and finally got around to it.

I managed to snag a C drum magazine for an M4/M16 on eBay so now I can try to make my own Patriot. Not really sure how to go about cutting down the barrel and such but I'll try to get a rifle with adjustable stock.

I just attended Fanime here in San Jose CA this past weekend, and debuted MGR Raiden. Photoshoot of Raiden as well as Solid Snake (with my new Stinger prop) are on their way, but for now, here's a photo from Mike Rollerson on flickr.

You know what is sad? we didn't have a cosplay contest like you guys in Paris  If I'd known that the location is so much cooler and all the stuff around I had definitely driven to Paris instead xD And it looks like there were muc more cosplayers than here! But nice cosplays! *g* glad you all got your stuff signed, too  Drjsosongco: simply amazing dude!

Well, my 2 parts came in for a Patriot. Cheap Airsoft M4 and the drum mag. Thankfully they fit! I'm pretty happy with how it looks for all under $50! Now I just have to shorten the barrel, probably with a buzzsaw, and maybe add some weathering to it.

So, uh. First Metal Gear Solid cosplay for me ever. I usually do the Resident Evil stuff but I decided to give the game a second chance (First time I played was when 2 was -new-...) so I went with something a little easy. It was tossed together rather quickly but, Here's Pliskin!

This is what I've been working on but I've made a few changes since these photos, mainly just removing the triangle and the line under it. You would be shocked if you knew how much I'm planning to sell castings for. I'm also planning to donate a couple to the D*C charity auction this year.
