Misquitoe Bites?
Well, misquitoe season has just begun up here in Canada, right around the same time as Anime North... Just great.
I was walking home from school the other day, and I got bitten on my hand by a misquitoe, to most people this isn't a big deal... except for the fact that I'm allergic to misquitoe bites. So, Now I have this huge red, swollen welt on the back of my hand (inbetween my index and middle finger). The redness I can make it go away by not touching it so much and putting on some foundation over it (sparringly) I was wondering... how do I get rid of the swollen lump? It needs to shrink considerably before friday night. -.-;; |

Try taking any sort of allergy medication. bendryl, claritin etc.. they will reduce the swelling in the bite area. Because that's why your skin swells.. its experiencing an allergic reaction. Clear calamine lotion before the con will also help sooth any irritation that you might be having.
