hehe umm hi ^.^;;; *newbie* im helping my friend make the rinoa dance dress thing...and i hardly even know where to start

??? that kinda sux....
if u're going from a pile of fabric, u'll need to go to a fabric store and find a pattern. Look for a short-skirted halter dress pattern. Once you get that done, u can worry about the top trim...

And I assume you at least have your friend's measurements, to make the right size dress? You'll definitely need those if you don't have them already. But yeah, getting a pattern would be the next step ^^

yep i got her measurements, but instead of buying a pattern i made one outta wrapping paper -.-;;; using one of my dresses for reference and so far it looks ok...thanx for ur advice!!
