Tracer Graffiti skin harness fabric!

Heya!
I'm in the planning stages for my 3rd Tracer cosplay: her Graffiti skin from the anniversary event.
I would like suggestions on what type of fabric I should get for the chronal accelerator harness.

Here is a really good reference picture I found.

and the full skin

Thanks!

Whatever you can find. :/

It's a cool look, but artists draw stuff without any notion of it ever being made in real life.

Textures like that are not very common, tend to be expensive when you can find them, and are often in expensive materials like Neoprene.

My Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/penlowe I make non-fitted custom things to ship within the continental US. I only do fitted garments for those whom I can meet in person.

If you want texture I'd say go the spiderman route and paint it

What, if you took a black fabric and laid over a hexagonal netting over it and spray painted it? No idea where you could get a net with holes that big though

I'm not so sure if you need textured fabric, but you definitely want the pattern. I think painting it's going to be your best/only option. I've definitely seen people spray paint fabric for Tali (Mass Effect) before just like Luna described. You can find a video of that here. If you still want the texture you could either follow the Spiderman stuff or maybe try thicker layers of spray paint.

The textured pattern isn't too important to me, since it'll be covered with the accelerator anyway.

I'm also okay with expensive fabric. I'll just have to save up!
