Is there going to be a place i can donate to at Anime Vegas? I'd rather give a check to someone rather than send it.

It's one of my idosyncrisies.

Come to the Anime Vegas monthly anime show at the West Charleston Library. This month it will be August 21st. Just ask for Rich ^^. Plus, if you come on the 21st show, your donated money can be used for raffle tickets! Check out the other Anime Vegas page at http://www.animevegas.net

Sorry, but most anime conventions don't allow original costumes. One of the important parts to judging a cosplay contest is to see how well the entrant recreated the character. You can't do that with an original costume ^^.

I was just wondering what everyone was wearing to anime vegas?
I'll might wear my Hitomi (doa) costume, unless I can get a chobits costume done in time.....

I'm so pshyced to go to the Anime Vegas Con!! I probably won't get to cosplay as a Rinoa or a Rinoa in Squall's clothes (since it's sooo friggin hot.... and it would be a miracle if I did.) I'm also a newbie and I'm just hyped to see you guys at the first ever Vegas con. I'd like to meet some of you interesting cosplayers... even though I'm a shy one. I'll bust out that day. See you guys then.

I wonder if Circus Circus would let cosplayers in to the adventure dome after the con...

I would email them, but I believe costumes are only allowed there when they turn it into the Scream Dome, or whatever it's called around Halloween.
