Got the belt material, but I'm trying to figure out what fabric I need to make them out of. I've thought about using felt, but I'm not sure if it'd look right. Also need to find the appropriate buckles.

Perhaps anyone can shed some insight? Really need some advice on this. <_____>

Hmm let me answer this cause i hate it when people dont reply to other in need of help....well based on this it seems like either felt or a nice cream colored satchel will work. Normally satchels come in cream or gray so look for that first and then if nothing comes up then go for the felt. Hope that helps, cant wait to see your costume

I'm planning on cosplaying as A.B.A for Fanime and I was curious on what methods some people use in order to keep the bandages from falling on their legs and arm?

Well im not an A.B.A cosplayer but id assume adhesive bandages? It would make the bandages stick where you need em too and stay put anywhere else

I'm still looking for ways to make the bones on Valentine's hat. They're supposed to be 3D but I don't know what to make them out of so they'd be soft and light enough to stay on the hat.

Try sock glue. You can get it from Sock Dreams here.

I'm trying to remember of the name of the material I'm thinking of, but it's like somewhere between like... plaster and papermache, and you could sculpt/fold it into a layer about as thick as paperboard that's 3D but very light (and more flexible than paperboard when wet). You'd just have to (lightly) sand it once it's all sculpted because as I recall it had a textured papery feel to it. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it at quarter to 6 AM though, sorry XD; /so unhelpful

Lulz thats not a problem XD but um...really sticky double sided tape? To keep the *right* amount of boobage showing while keeping the cosplay in place. Idk maybe a girl has a better alternate solution

Mmm... most girls just wear a bra under it, or have built their costumes to cover the chest. But by the nature of your post I'm gonna take a step to assume you purchased it, or commissioned it?
The unfortunate PURPOSE of I-No's costume is pornographic, so to cosplay, you either have to build the costume to actually cover up, or just wear a bra under it. Tape might work but..... do you REALLY wanna risk it NOT working in the middle of a con? XD; (Plus then you might get kicked out for indecency which is not good D|)

I'm not sure of how much flesh is considered indecent for a con, but i would suggest:

1) wearing a nude tube top
2) nipple tape
3) fashion double-side tape
4) combination of points 2 & 3

My best friend who was I-no with me for HOS did not do anything to save herself. Even though she was careful, she had been terrified since then.

I'm making another HOS, the bad-ass red/black/grey scheme from SLASH (start color)
Sadly, he's gonna be the close end of my GG cosplay lifestyle...

I always figured he has black spandex pants, over which he has the weird one-leg and hips wrap dealie, which sorta wraps around and attaches with straps or velcro (see those black tabs at the waist on his XX and Isuka portraits?) at the right hip. Then you can see in his X portrait that the leg has an opening in it, starting at about 3-4 inches above the knee. So what I'd do is make a half-pair of pants, without one leg, and have the opening for the legless side attach at that hip. Then you just toss the big ass belt over that. Then I'd recommend ankleboots with an about 1" heel.
The coat is just a bolero with mega-shoulderpads. If you hop over to the GG cosplay thread I can help you work specific kinks out XD;
(sorry for off-topicness, hope that helps. Clearly I've spent way too much free time figuring GG costumes out...)
Mind if i ask how to do the shoulder pads? can could i sew the bolero and pants by hand? i totally dont know how to work a sewing machine @_@' im such a noob lol

Okay, so in the 80's, big shoulders were really popular for women's jackets and blouses- even today you can find inserts for sewing in big shoulderpads (like these). Then again, Venom's are a lot more extreme than those, so I'd recommend maybe sewing quilting batting into the shoulders, along with some heavy duty interfacing. Keep in mind, to deal with the big size of the shoulders, that that part of the pattern you're working with will have to be bigger.

You can sew anything by hand if you put your mind to it, it just takes forever (trust me, I've done most of mine by hand XD
