CNX Tickets, Limited Access? o.O
Hey everybody.
I'm officially going to the Canadian National eXpo! now what's all this LIMITED ACCESS about on the website? what am i being limited to?! @__@; For example, I was going to get the One day Festival of Fear pass, but it's LIMITED ACCESS to the Sci-Fi and Anime parts. Then, I was going to buy the Festival of Fear Deluxe Pass when I saw it's LIMITED ACCESS to the anime part. The Anime Deluxe Pass is not LIMITED ACCESS anywhere but i doubt I'll get $45 worth. Basically I wanna know what's being LIMITED to me. I don't go to more than half the events anyway, why pay for them? I also noticed some guests are subject to charges. I know about Patrick Stewart but are we going to be charged for anyone else? I don't usually get very involved at CNX but this new Festival of Fear is right up my alley. I'd rather get a Fear pass but I don't wanna end up wanting to go somewhere and being told my $30 doesn't allow it but it allows tons of other shit i won't do -_-

Essentially, you can't get into the viewing rooms, and may have problems seeing the GOH, I'm not certain.
Oh, and they want to give anime pass holders priority to the Masquerade, but it isn't going to work (logistically) so you should be fine. |

Yup. Whatever rooms are showing anime won't be included, and possibly the anime panels, but again that has to do with policing.....

Silver and his crew are WRETCHED at replying to e-mails sent to them asking questions. They say they replied... but they never do. Sorry I can't be of much more help.

I also emailed them with a query about the masquerade, and particularly how the "priority seating" was going to work.
Did anyone else see the promotional fliers they were giving out at Toronto Trek claiming that they were Canada's Biggest Masquerade? ^_^" Funny[

My friends are giving out flyers for the Festival of Fear, I don't see any of that on it. but everyone claims to have the biggest something or other. It's a matter of opinion.
Ikegami~ Well I'm not 100% which events i wanna go to until everything is finalized. I'm hoping to see some of the guests to get autographs (thus the inquiry about charges to other guests besides Patrick Stewart), possibly the MASQ, Artist Alley, maybe some workshops/panels/seminars or whatever, dealer room, and some others i'm about to pass out though so i can't check the site, lol

For autographs of any other guests, any pass will do. I might be possible to slip by on this one?? Quote:

"Anime Name That Tune", "Anime Win, Lose or Draw" require anime pass. Anime Viewing rooms and Anime Karaoke require an anime pass (although someone said you could pay a small fee at the door for the Karaoke?) Check "Features" of each con portion, and check the FAQ (which is the same page for all cons portions). |

*LMAO* there's a generic question.
it depends on what pass you get, which is why i created this topic because i am undecided which pass is most appropriate for my needs. you can see the complete list here: https://secure.e-registernow.com/cgi....cgi?state=312 but you'll have to refer to the main website to find out what passes give you access to what: http://www.hobbystar.com/ComicConToronto/CC_Main.asp

Okay in other news here's the answer about the reserved seating..... QUESTION I was browsing your website regarding your upcomming event in Toronto, and I was just curious as to what 'Priority seating for the Masquerade' entails. How is it implimented. Do we have a reserved seat? Are they numbered? Do we get tickets?Thank you in advance for your reply ANSWER HERE Priority seating is in case we cannot fit everyone in the theatre, weekend or deluxe pass holders will be admitted first. Basic pass holders will be admitted following. No numbers, no. Thanks.
