Angelface cosplay; make-up tips would be great

Hi, I'm a newbie. I'm pondering my first cosplay which is due in February. Yes, I'm a bit early but I'm lazy so it's good to be early.

So, I was wondering if anyone could maybe give me some tips on what you think one should remember when cosplaying him. If you don't know who I'm talking about, Angelface is Jared Leto's character from Fight Club. Here are some reference captures from the DVD. The first ones are for the clothes, but the caps with him beaten up, those are the ones you should be looking at.

I don't want to even try looking like Jared Leto, but I've had this idea for a long time that I want to cosplay Angelface and, well, I think I could give a shot at cosplaying the beaten up version. So, I was just thinking that if anyone has any advice for this kind of make-up - any kind of advice - I'd really appreciate it.

Also, any suggestions concerning the Fight Club scar are also welcome.

Thank you in advance,

Joey P. Sychotic
Put him in a dress and make him smile, and he'd be a woman. -Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
