Okies! Well, I guess there ish gonna be a Galaxy Angel cosplay group at Ohayocon~ ^^ I had started planning a Mint costume long ago~ then KonekoMiyabi mencioned that she was gonna try Forte~ Yay! so now I'ma gonna finish what I started! and I hear some others are interested in the Galaxy Angel cosplay too~? it would be cool to get a compleat group together! and do other planning and such {like what day we'd be doing these costumes and such} Alright! ^-^ Yay for Galaxy Angelness -nyo!

I think I've decided to do Ranpha! I'm excited for another group cosplay! Too bad we don't have a Milfuelle o__O Though if someone else wants to do Ranpha and no one wants to do Milfuelle I could probably be easily convinced to change

Yay! ^_^ I'm so excited! I get to run around with a riding crop and I might make extra large weaponry to carry around!

hah, that's fine XD also, olong the lines of the costumes themselves~ does anyone know what to use for the red jems that almost all the angels have? {didn't see one on Ranpha, but I know all the others have em, mines on my bow ^^;} but I'm not sure what to use, does anyone else have an idea?

It's kinda far ahead to think of when we'll wear the costumes hmm? I have several costumes to make before then! I'm excited though! We just need a Milfuelle!

*looks up piccies* oh yeah, Ranpha does have em! ^^;; heh~ I didn't study her toooo closely, since hers isn't in the same place as everyone elses~.. . .and maybe you can use baby raddles? XD or those maracha things? I'm not sure ^^;; *will think about it*

I'd use clear fish rocks and paint the backs of them red and then use Sculpey to do the edges and the backs....
It's what I used on all the gems for the Oh My Goddess costumes my cousins and I did at Ikasucon.

I wonder how on *earth* I'm gonna make/buy a monacle that Forte wears on her left eye? And how to keep it there? Ack! I'll have to glue the thing to my face!
I think it's time I looked up some tutorials on making extra large weaponry too!

heheh, yeah ^^ the monical might be an issue ^^;; any ides yet for that? and as for the jem things, I did look into the fish rock thing, and that does seem like it'd be a good idea~ the only problem I'm having ish I can't find any clear or red~ so I was thinking, maybe painting a different colored one with red nailpolish? ^^;; it'll still be shiney~ ... and also, I've never worked with Sculpey before, ish it hard {or expencive? ^^;; } and you're looking into big weaponry? XD Oh! I wish I had an interesting prop! ^^

Sculpey is easy and it's relatively cheap...it's like using Play-Doh! ^_^ The best places to get a good variety of colors is a place like Hobby Lobby.
The nail polish is a good idea since to make it even shinier you can get a clear topcoat. I'm surprised you can't find clear fish rocks! I found tons of those at Jo-Anne's fabrics. I have some big ones left over from my Oh My Goddess costumes. I'd be happy to send them to you if you wouldn't mind giving out a sending addy.
As for my monacle....I have no clue >_<. I'm thinking of just finding a round lens from a pair if fake glasses and rimming it with wire and using eyelash glue to keep it on there!
