Hi guys! I just wanted to ask if anyone had started up a cosplay.com gathering for AUSA? This'll be my first time, so I have no idea about the place and how it's set up.. but does anyone know of a good meeting spot? I thought sometime Saturday would be good, before or after everyone's photoshoots. We could have a shoot or just a general gathering... Let me know what you guys think. ^^;

Oh, and is anyone else doing the purple ribbons? I heard a few people that had purple ribbons on for Otakon, for the whole cosplay.com thing, but I didn't know about them then. Anyone else doing them for AUSA?

Hey I dont know about a gathering but Im defiantly going to wear a purple ribbon.that is if everyone else is still doing that.otherwise theres no point in wearing them.I didnt know about that either at otakon but o well theres always ausa.peace out and if you guys are going to do that post me back.=^.^=v

We had a cosplay.com photoshoot last year, it was somewhere in the lobby by registration, and there was another one directly outside the main entrance. It was like...mid afternoon I think.

I think we should get a group photo if we have a gathering. It'll be fun!

I think you have to ask Admin if you can organize it or something, and the organizer has to be over 18. Just thought you'd like to know ^_^.

yeah that would be fun and i always where my purple ribbion. but sorry i can't be the organizer i'm only 16. But the lobby is where a lot of the shots take place.

Well, I will be in attendance at this convention, so I guess the photoshoot will be my responsiblity. Whether I will delegate this power to another member, or do it myself (I will be staff for AUSA, in the Manga Room.) will be a question that will be answered. Stay tuned for updates.

Actually, some of us planned on doing the ribbon idea for Animazement too. It sounds like a good idea as long as we all find little ribbos. :P Anyway... Yep, I'd show for the shoot. And I'd be bringing a couple other cosplay.com members with me too ^^

*gasp* My dear John is not aware of the ribbon ritual........ok ok so its not a ritual. It's just a way of identifying other members of cosplay.com. At Katsucon some of us just printed out our avatars and put them on a template and stuck em on our badge xD. Although I've found c.com people just fine without all that ^^.

I think 99% of the members don't wear the ribbons, just look at Otakon.

Though since AnimeUSA takes place during the last week of October I suggest instead of purple ribbons you wear a Red ribbon (since the last week of october has always been desinated Red Ribbon week by the US Congress since 1988). Represent two causes in one.

Red Ribbon week represents the continuing fight to keep drugs of the streets.
