Any Tasuki (Fushigi Yugi) Cosplayers?

I've been thinking about doing him for a bit, and I just wanted to ask if his outfit is easy, intermediate or hard! And as well if expensive. Oh yes, important as well, post your pics! I'd love to see! Thanks!

actually, it think thats the easiest one^.^ IMO ! woohoo!!i love tasuki!!go for it!!^.^ im making miaka's school uniform for myslef for otakon and one of tamahomes outfits for my hubbie, and nurikos getup for a friend, but im not sure if i want them for otakon or shoujocon^.^

I think it mainly depends on how much your are going to get into detail and what kind of fabric and materials you use. If you plan on using vinyl/leather/pleather for the coat things will get pricey. There's also the hair-long orange spikes!!?!! And of course, the steel fan.

So really, it's as hard or as easy as you want to make it. By how much of it you want to make. Or not make. The same goes for expensiveness. I wish you good luck on it thought, I plan on doing my own for a con in the distant future.

Ugh, I hated him in Eikoden! He grew and cut his hair! That hair was the best thing about him!!!! I'm mad at that!!!!!
Anywayz, the coat is being custom made by my coolio buddy and I'm doing everything by myself. I found a good wig that may do that righteous hair justice, I just gotta find it in a red or orange colour!!

Oi! I have a wig quite like that...I happened to grab the one and only one on ebay! ^_^ ebay can be good SOMETIMES...other times...blech..anyhoo

heres a really crappy pic of meh in my really crappy made-in-one-night TV v. Tasuki costume fer halloween...'course...I walked around school like this...so the majority of people had no clue who I was...so it didn't matter how OFF my costume was to the actual thang ^_^ lol

but hai, its crap (ugh...i'm looking at it now...and it's h-o-r-r-i-b-b-l-e...but then again...it's only a Halloween costume...i wouldn't pass this off as a con costume..nuuu way)...LOL ^^ the wig isn't styled...it was cut..but not styled to be his hair yet...fan is completely done..very nice, imho..^^; :: gryn :: etc etc... I'm also making my maroon coat custom, making it myself over the Christmas holiday x.x much work, yesh it will be...

wheeee ^^; I just used reggaler (lol...i make up new words as i go along..) really baggy white pants, any kind...and measured them to a good length below my knee....then cut 'em! that's cuz it's a pain-in-the-ass already to stuff them into the boots, so I made it easy on myself and since I cut it, only had a little bit to get in there ^o^

:: looks at time :: agh! 15 minutes and I gotta git ta school...10th grade sucks...blah..anyhoo..ja matta!
