GameCube online
This is just wrong. And it's printed in Nintendo Power.
There is almost NO difference between the speed you'll get with the broadband adapter and the speed you'll get with the 56K adapter. Because of the processing speed of the GameCube, you'll have identical results. How messed up is that? |

what good online games does gc plan to have anyway?
that really sucks that they're charging you up the butt for the same results....x___x

I haven't looked to see what else will be online, but they do have Phantasy Star Online.

hmmmmm...*scratches head*..i'll just wait on getting any online accessories for the gc..i still have yet to get my ps2 modem..>__<
gaming these days are becoming more and more expensive and damn..the companies know how to make a gamer broke...x__x;; i guess sometimes it's worth it...*thinking of resident evil online*

O_o;; I'm hoping that's a misprint or something. If it is true, then they have to be limiting the broadband capabilities in order to not give broadband players an edge....that is so crap.

what they are saying is that the GC can't handle anything more than a 56K connection.....and I doubt it's a misprint. It's a small color ad with a small paragraph about it.

from what ive read, PSO is the only online game that they are actually working on so far.

56K modems doesn't do online gaming justice - I know >_<. It would be nice if they hooked up Animal Crossing, though.
