It's missing the sleeves. And the accessories. But they aren't done yet. *whips accessories person into shape* I had to go buy more material for the sleeves today. The old stuff wasn't shiny enough.

Jaina, your Kenshin is *perfect*. Practically nobody ever does him in satin, and I think it looks great. You got all the back details right and everything. Awesome. ^_^

I was contemplating between doing Kenshin's kimono in shiny satin or cotton, and in the end I ended up doing both (shiny for regular Kenshin, cotton for my super-secret Kenshin Cosplay), but I'll be wearing the shiny one when I go as regular Kenshin. Obviously, satin isn't entirely accurate to Kenshin's kimono, but the fabric was so lovely and I thought that satin might stand out more at a Convention. The pictures of the kimono indoors with a flash make it look like it's patented leather or something, LoL--outdoors, it's really not that shiny.

Okay, sorry, back on topic... Like I already told you Tia, I can't believe you were nervous about showing us your georgous Sailor Suit (can't wait to see some pictures of it on someone!)... I'm serious about that bow-tutorial. I just LOVE how the bow looks--totally perky, not saggy, big (I LOVE BIG!), nicely shaped... PM me your secrets!!!
