HELP! Title needed for the cosplay theme at my high school

YES, YES, YES my friend in Student Council told me that our idea for a cosplay theme for our high school’s homecoming this year had been approve. WOPPY cosplay at school.

However the committee is struggling with a title for the theme. Unfortunately my school is a Caucasian base, plague with close-minded people. Therefore anime is not very well known, nevertheless the concept of cosplay. The rest of minority is busy partying and getting high. (I hope this doesn’t offend anyone, I’m exaggerating if you can’t tell)

Even though the Student Council agrees on the idea of dressing up in costume as an anime character or game character, it will also include cartoons and films character. I have no problemwith this what so ever , except for the choice of the title; the title for the event will be called ‘Lights, Camera, Action’. When my friend told me this I was like HELL NO they completely and deliberately accentuate on the concept of film’s costume. So I need your help in thinking of a title that is both witty, catchy, creative and vague enough to be understandable (remember no one knows what cosplay means) and not distinct enough to highlight only one form of costumes.

So please help me. Cosplay at school, cosplay at school, how cool this that.

That is SO cool!

But "Lights, Camera, Action" is pretty lame...

You could always call it PLAY in Your COStume Day! (harhar) I'm so awful at coming up with titles. XD;;

I know that this doesn't imply anime (i think), but how about "Waltz on the Moon", it's the title from one of the songs from FF8, it was where Squall and Rinoa dance together. Gamers, might get that.

"Evangelion", maybe. Thats all I can come up with.

After reading the thread for like the 5th time and saying 'oh that'll be a good title for a dance' did it occur to me that some of you may have misunderstood what's Homecoming.

Homecoming is a club promotional festival/fair. This is when the entire school club has a booth to sell food or create activities. It gives the student body knowledge of what clubs are out there and also a way for the clubs to bank in some money for the rest of the school year; and each year there is always a different theme the fair partakes.

All the themes have been lame until now. So all I need is a great title, sorry if you were confuse. ( I thought all high school had homecoming, right?)

SOunds like my high school^^ we do have a lot of people from different countries, but the majority has no idea about anime. If there was a dance at my school, which I seriously doubt there ever will be because chances are, only around 7 people will show (my 4 friends inculding me, and maybe some others along with people that think they like anime but are obsessed with everything shown on tv and don't save the money or take the time to buy their own dvds or mangas or borrow them from libraries.) I wish you good luck^_^

Hmm. . midnight masquarade. . I like the idea of masquarade in it lol^^
