Exclamation An original Cosplay Idea, need help!

I am going to cosplay as my character I made up last year and have stuck to since, but just recently decided to cosplay. I have plenty of time, I am going to cosplay at Anime Expo '05 but I need material help.

I need a good lush, soft, white, type of bird down and a way to keep them to a set posistion for a angel type wing.

I don't know what to use for a dragon type hide for my demonic wing.

I think I will just get contacts from http://9mmfxs.com/ .

I have never been to an anime expo, would they allow real swords?

Um I can't think of anything else at the moment but I probally will so can someone help me?

Real swords are generally NOT allowed at cons. Even if they do let you bring one, they're usually a pain to haul around events.

Spray glue works well for holding feathers to wings.

As for dragon hide, try the fake vinyl snakeskin type stuff. Jo Ann's usually has that type of thing.
