Squall Leonhart Jacket

Hey, fellow members... I need to know if there is anyone who can tell me a good way to get a jacket like Squall's from Final Fantasy VIII (8). If you know a website that sells them or a store that may have materials for one, please let me know. Thanks.

Well, I just got a pleather jacket from Fred Myers. If you're willing to pay 20 dollers, you can find one. It's a female jacket. But then I haven't ever seen a male one like that, other than his... Lol. But you only have to do a little altering, and then add the faux fur, and bang! You have his jacket!

You can also find one like that for 5 dollers at Goodwill. But the one at Fred Myers isn't used. Hope this was a help to you!

Hey, thanks for the help, if anyone has any other suggestions, let me know. And sorry for the double message of mine, it combined two of my threads... and Greg Bianchi, how can I reach this Fred Myers?

Also, if anyone wants to talk about stuff, just throw me a message on AIM.

Fred Myers is a store. ^_^;

Just remember Squall's jacket is cropped and altered and not a regular jacket. It has baggy sleeves and a tight fitting, short middle. @_@

what's the website to that Fred Myers store? because when I go to fredmyers.com it says it is a piano outlet thing and that doesn't sound right towards what I am in search for.

Uhhh O_o

Okie, first step is to choose whether you want a leather jacket or a pleather jacket... I chose pleather since I'm a veggie and love cows...
Anyway, if you choose to go with leather, look around for a woman's clothing outlet of some sort and find a leather jacket that looks remotely like it (I've never seen one that has the baggy sleeves without a baggy torso, so Squall must have had it custom made...)
If you go with pleather, find a place near you or online that sells pleather jackets and buy a black one (I got mine from some website somewhere). Don't worry if it isn't short cut or baggy sleeves, you're saving the life of a cow somewhere by choosing the less accurate approach...

Now that you have a jacket, buy some faux fur from a sewing shop somewhere... I actually found some at WalMart that was very nice... sew that faux fur to the collar of the jacket and you're all set ^_^ The real challenge is making the belts, hehe... Unless you're gonna be one of those Squalls that doesn't have accurate belts...

FFSquare sells Squall's jacket. http://www.myimportstore.com/index.a...ame=&Section=3

It's a bit expensive, though.

If you get it from FFSquare, you can request that they not add on their fur collar (because it looks too much like a collar... and not like Squall's, at all.) They should down your price a little along with that, too. I emailed them regarding this whole collar situation just a few days ago, so they should still be taking that request.
