Need some help with Sasuke from Naruto ^^

Hi everyone, may I ask if anyone knows how I can attach the collar to a shirt so that it sits nicely like it does in the picture? Thanks very much in advance! ^^

Well, I would suggest using either interfacing or buckram the size of one piece of the collar, sewing it to that piece of the collar (when I say piece I mean either the white or blue part, it won't matter), and then sewing the collar together and attaching it to the shirt.

If you're using some sort of cotton or natural fiber, you could use spray starch, but I don't know hoe it works, it's just an idea

I used some heavy interfacing and made a collar ring of blue and white fabric, the width and height I desired. Then I attached it to my shirt cutting the neckhole in the shirt until it matched the collar size. See my gallery for my Sasuke pics if curious... and good luck!

Yeah, I agree with both ideas. The way to make anything stiff or stick up like that is to stitch interfacing to one side of the fabric. Make sure you stitch it to the wrong side of either the blue or the white, as when you flip it inside out, the interfacing should be inside and invisible.

Also, there are multiple kinds of interfacing you can buy at different thicknesses. try something medium or pretty heavy so it can be sure to stay up. Interfacing also has a tendency to stick when you iron it or iron it through fabric. Be careful not to iron too much, it'll bubble up under your fabric.
