Need Help on an "Interesting" Wig
I cannot believe I'm doing this, but I'm making a wig for my friend and it's the weirdest hair I've ever seen. Go here for a pic of the hair.
To sum it up, it's kind of an oblong blonde 'fro. |

I had thought of that, but I don't have enough money to buy extras in case I screw up. All the blonde afro wigs I've found didn't have the right kind of feel either.
Thanx for the suggestion though! |

My thought is to make it kind of like sailor moon odangos. Except really freaking big. Take some styrofoam to make the shape and then form the hair around it. You might need to try human hair so that you can rat the hair out and then put it over the base. Either that, or use the old-fashioned plates for crimping (they are plastic) and then use a blow dryer on low heat over them. You might have trouble finding them, though. You'll need a bunch of extensions, so you can use some of the extension hair for the moustache.
