I made my dress without a pattern, and it was fairly easy. Well, if you have a dress form.
It's a fairly simple dress, I think I finished mine in like 3 days. But if I had more time I would have made it better. Anywho, good luck, and I can't wait to see the end results. |

Mild revival of sort-of dead thread.
I'm doing Prison B*tch Monarch at Ohayocon 2007, and have a Dr. Girlfriend, Ghetto Henchman, Dean Venture, *possible* Molotov Cocktease, *possible* Brisbee Bee, and *possible* Helper Bot. I. Can't. Wait. I'm buying the fabric for Monarch today. Viva la JoAnn's sales! |

Hey guys, I'm working on a few Venture themed costumes, this month, I'm "supposed" to work on a henchman costume....but, I really don't have time to make the black part of the body suit from scratch, anyone know where to get a premade one perhaps?

Hey Everyone,
Well i figured I'd ask here first, any ideas on what would be a good wig to use for Brock's mullet? Me and RogueSamus are making a Venture Brothers gathering on May 11th at ACEN '07 and I could use some suggestions. The wig I bought is the right color, but we need the puffyness for the back and sideburns. Any ideas? Also, feel free to join us at the gathering. Details are here: http://forum.myspace.com/index.cfm?f...5CB83C64482614 and here: http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=96869

I have been DYING to cosplay The Grand Galactic Inquisitor (IGNORE ME!) but the costume would be SO FREAKING HARD. especially trying to rig in a small megaphone to creep behind people and when they turn around yell IGNORE ME!
god I love that guy.

I am working on a Monarch costume for the Pittsburgh Comicon. My Girlfriend and I are trying to organizing a massive Venture Bros. cosplay group for the con. If there is anyone in the Pittsburgh area who would like to meet up with our ever growing group, you are more than welcome. So far we have The Monarch, Dr. Girlfriend, #21, #24, Dr. Henry Killinger, Cat-Clops, Girl Hitler, Triana, Molotov, Hank (we need a Dean), and Jefferson Twilight.

I went as Dr. Venture for Halloween last year (his blue outfit from 'Dia De Los Dangerous!'.) Unfortunately, no pics are up because...well...the bald cap for it sucked...hard (...in the true Venture fashion, it was the only one I could find, it was $2.99 and looked like a rubber glove on my head.)
I'm scouting around to try and find a good quality cap so I can redo the outfit at AnimeBoston this year, so hopefully I'll be able to provide evidence then (cause the rest of the outfit turned out pretty well otherwise.) Also got a friend who's planning to do a Venture Bros character at some point...still deciding which though (right now he's got it down to either Dr. Orpheus or Horace Gentleman.) |

My fiancee and I have a future Dr. Orpheous and Dr. Girlfriend planned. I don't know where we're going to use them at a con though. Probably SD Comic Con.

If I have time this year, I really want to make a Molotov costume for Otakon. I was inspired when my boyfriend was talking about how much he wants to cosplay Dr. Girlfriend... XD; he does the voice way too well!
