Sonic and Shadow

Hullo. Me and my friend are planning on cosplaying as Shadow and Sonic in October. I need help with the spikes o.O I wanna make them like big plush spikes or something.. I already posted something like this somewhere else and got some good advice, but the more advice the better since I've only ever made one costume before. Does anyone know where to get like.. A cap or something to go over my head and around my neck, that I could sew the spikes onto? Like.. Umm.. http://www.cosplaylab.com/cosplayers...ostumeid=66040 Kinda like that. It's teh only thing I can think of that would look good, but I can't make something like that myself cuz it's bound to end up failing, and I don't know where to buy anything like it. Sooo, can anyone help?

Wow that's quite a first project to be working on. I don't think I've seen any caps like that you can buy before, my only suggestion is to make it, but it is quite possible other people have better ideas or know where to find some.

It looks more like a hood than a cap...maybe you could get a blue/black sweat shirt with a hood and sew on the spikes? I don't know.

I have the same problem, but I plan to be a human-Knuckles...or 'Fists' from fireball20xl. My idea was to make a red plush 'genki hat' with the dread sown to it. *if you've seen genki hats then you would know what I'm talking about* My costume should turn out like the image in my signature.
