Northeast Cosplayer Picnic (PA/NY/NJ/MD)

Hey folks, thought I'd try to revive the NE Cosplayer picnic since we only had one in '04' and its just a kick arse time ^.^!

So is anyone interested in having one again? Date wise I was thinking the first weekend of April maybe? Or the weekend before Anime Boston or something, any suggestions and any location suggestions? Last time we had it @ Rose Tree Park (was so cool....cept we all got sunburnt!!) and the time before it was at Ridley Creek Park.

So whose interested?!

I don't know about how far everyone is from Maryland, but Cunningham Falls State Park is a beautiful site to see! A beautiful waterfall, having lunch on the rocks by the falls, trails that go into the mountains with large rock formations to climb on, a beautiful lake...it's an all-out great place. They're absolutely beautiful...they cascade about three different directions before hitting the pool below (I think you can kinda see that in the picture I linked....)

Anyway, just an idea!

I have already spoken to the founder of the NE Cosplayer's Picnic. He said that he will strongly take it under consideration. Please be patient and he will get back to us all. ^_^

Update- Oshi has passed the torch down to CCAmanda. She is now in charge of PicnicCon 4.

Ok apparently I've been put in charge of organizing it this year *blink*. Wow...this is cool XD;;.
Ok so first we need to pick a date that'll work for everyone!! (and a rain date in case it rains?). Is April bad for people? Since Tekkoshocon and AnimeBoston are this month...but then in May you've got Animazement...well you say here what works better for you all. After we settle on a date, we can work on location and whatnot.

well i'm down for it (or up for it. . .whatever) 05 is all about NEWNESS for me anyway. never been to these PicnicCons anyway. (for a full newness update look up at the stars or go to my L J) I'm from the NNJ area and there are some pretty good parks there or head out to NYC which has a park ever 20city blocks, bla bla bla so on and so on.
