I'm hoping to do a Vaclav (or perhap a William) costume (anime version). I was wondering if anyone had any good reference pics of the front and back of the jackets?

I bought a new TB book from Animate last time I was there (Canon: Summa Theologica, I think it's called) and it has a few pics in the beginning, and there is one gory pic of Abel, Cain and Seth, but it has the back of her hat. I hope to scan it tonight and I'll put it up for you.

There's also a pic of Lilith, but she's not wearing a sari, it's a white dress of some sort. And several other pics of other people whose names I don't know off the top of my head.

I was looking for pics of Seth's weapon, but there didn't seem to be one in that image I had (was hoping there was). I don't own all the novels yet... I would only really buy them for the pics, which I assume will end up in the artbook anyway.

oooh please do post any pics you can! I want to get the novels but so far as I know they arent in either french or english (the two languages im fluent in) I know its in Japanese and in Chinese, does anyone know if its been printed in any other languages that I have more of a chance of learning? (planning on taking a third language anyways) If I can learn enough to understand one of the languages its in, ill buy it for sure lol.

I don't know. I'm actually looking for someone else. I've fallen behind the TB obsession a little, as I figure no point in getting crazy until the book arrives. Only 4 more months...

As for learning enough Japanese, you'd have to know quite a bit. There's a lot of kanji, and they are novels, after all, and not written for children. If I were a manga company in America, I'd pick them up....but I'm not. And I can't read them that well, either (and I've been studying some Japanese, but I don't know near enough).

yeah, thats why i was hoping it was in some other language thats in typical alphabet.......... oh, well, theres still the art book which i might just ask for for my bday lol. Well, I can always see if I can write to some company.......... Its pretty bad when you read a bit and cant get the rest. (a link on a previous post to a compressed translation of chap 1-3)

Eleryth - Thank you so much for scanning all of those pictures in, especially the Seth one. I never would have guessed her hat was *that * detailed. O.o

Great pictures! One question, Who is it who is standing over Seth's body? I see black wings, but Cain is normally in white, not Abel...... Plus, Abel is the nice guy (at least by what ive seen.....)

If you're talking about the sorta fuzzy black around the shoulder of Cain, that's Seth's hair. ^^; Cain is holding Seth's head and is dressed in white, and Abel is in the bottom right corner and so got cut off entirely. I wanted to crop only Seth out since it was for the hat (and the rest of her outfit), otherwise it would have had to be much smaller and not as high quality.

Ephemerality - What do you have so far? I've been working like crazy on my Seth costume (I just uploaded a progress pic to my gallery, BTW) and have collected enough to have a pretty good idea of how her costume looks. I'd be happy to PM you some.

I'm right now planning what fabric/lace/boot covers I'm going to do, the hat will be simple...If I can make KOS-MOS Xenosaga Episode I costume, this will be a peice of cake. But on this costume...I'm going to line EVERYTHING, no shortcuts.

For reference pics I used the AX Japan girls reference, that's the best costume I've seen thus far, if you have anymore reference pics I'd be happy to recieve *I've just about used up all this threads reference pics*
