Can I apply the dye while the wig is wet?

If I get a blonde wig, would it be possible to dye it silver? if the blonde is light enough?

This method works very well, but I had to change it a little.... I only need to dye half of my wig black and some of the bottom but still leaving most of the back of the wig blonde. I used a hair dyer will applying the dye, I would spray some dye and put the hair dyer on it for a few seconds before combing it trough(still with the hair dyer on it) so that the color would stay. After getting all that I needed dyed I followed the rest of you procedure. This is more or less a two person job so its a great bonding experience!!

Thanks again for posting this!

No. There is absolutely no way to make a wig that has been dyed turn white again, without using paint or something else that will essentially wreck your wig. Not even with white FW ink.

I'm gonna take a wild swing and guess that it's for the same reason that they add alcohol to perfume: it evaporates faster.

Ok here's my question
I was planning on buying a white wig, so I bought white extensions from Cosworx to test colors. I obtained my perfect color but now I want a different wig that doesn't come in white. The closest color I can get is platinum blonde. Does anyone know if using a platinum blonde base wig (Tina 950) instead of white would make a big difference in the resulting color?
thanks a lot!

It will, depending on the color you're trying to achieve.

Anything cool-toned won't work on a platinum blonde wig, but warm, yellowish colors are OK. You may have to adjust the dye color or mix ratio when dyeing a blonde wig to match the result on the white extensions (i.e., add less yellow / a hint of blue or purple.)

Thank you Kukkii-san!
The color I want to achieve is a somewhat deep purple-ish blue (for Shampoo from Ranma 1/2) so I suppose a platinum blonde base is not the best. Well it's good to know before I buy anything, I'll keep that in mind.
